Crisis Counseling
Sometimes we feel as if we are barely able to keep up with the pace of our everyday lives after overcoming one challenge after another. When our life is moving faster than we can, or when we are presented with challenges we don’t know how to address, we cannot enjoy the successes we’ve worked so hard to create let alone stay afloat to make sense of it all. With the hectic pace of today’s society and the common practice of placing too many burdens on ourselves we at times become down trodden and do not take the proper care of ourselves. These problems can then lead to other clinical complications such as depression, anxiety, physical ailments, and problems with relationships.
Crisis Counseling or Crisis Therapy can help you proactively explore the events in your world so you can be better prepared for future challenges.
Crisis Counseling Treatment involves examining the presenting problems and establishing what can be thought of as a totem pole of priorities that need to be addressed. This also involves taking into account what our strengths and weaknesses are in order to determine where we need to seek assistance and what we can individually focus on. Our therapists will work together with you as comfortably as possible in establishing a methodology to address the concerns at hand. There may be times when a Crisis Intervention may need to be established and that is where we seek additional help from either other individuals or professionals so you can be reassured you are not alone in your struggles. Additionally, our Crisis Counselors can work with you and psychiatrists if obtaining psychotropic medications is warranted and if it will help you obtain temporary relief.
Whether it’s conflict in relationships, work, children, or other chronic situations our team at 360 Therapists can help to show you how to slow down this process and assist you to make life feel more manageable.
