Workplace Issues Counseling
360 Therapy provides professional expertise when learning to deal with problems at work.
The assistance and guidance we offer produces positive results for employees and employers alike. Our team of professionals has well-established relationships with numerous Employee Assistance Programs, and we work directly with small, midsized and large corporations throughout the Midwest region.
Many people have difficulty controlling and leaving the stress, strain and pressures of work and earning a living at their workplace where it belongs. Instead, they bring that stress home where it often negatively affects family members. When difficulties at work intensify, it becomes increasingly harder to maintain the important boundary between work and home. In many cases the process occurs in reverse — with problems at home leading to poor work performance or conflicts with coworkers or superiors.
Workplace issues that require counseling and therapy include substance abuse, absenteeism, poor performance and interpersonal conflict, among others. For these challenges 360 therapy offers intensive, solution focused counseling combined with cognitive behavioral therapy. Using this approach, the therapist guides the employee in a thorough exploration of the factors contributing to the problem and the possible cognitive and/or behavioral adjustments to help creative positive change.
360 Therapy also offers on-site Critical Incident Stress Debriefing to employees and executives at all levels in the event of sudden tragedy or trauma. In these situations, the need for professional support is most often unexpected and immediate. A highly skilled practitioner from 360 Therapy will go onsite to provide group and individual individual counseling. In the past, 360 Therapy has helped employees after armed robberies, deaths and other critical incidents requiring time sensitive assistance due to unexpected workplace accidents. In cases such as these, employees who’ve either observed or witnessed a traumatic or tragic event are in dire need of counseling to assist with difficulties such as post traumatic stress, anxiety or depression.
